The ancient Chamori people of Guahan, Luta, Tinian and
Saipan were a festive and ceremonial lot. They lavished themselves with the finest food the land and the sea
could muster. Most importantly, they savored their palates with a sacred but ceremonial template.
The Na' Chamori Seafood Restaurant & Catering
in Kihei, Maui was specifically created to re-live and posture the Royal lifestyle of the ancient Chamori People.
From the Clam Shell dishes to the wooden utensils...authenticity was
a natural denominator for the design of the facility. The friendly Famalo'an with their silky, long hair; the mystical
Matuas in their ceremonial attire; blowing conch (Kulo') shell melodies and reciting ancient chants....make
the atmosphere festive and congenial.
